The Garage Floor
We really wanted to have the garage open to the side of the house but there wasn't enough room. The garage on the left is reserved for Robyn's mom's van. The right side will Sean's work area. Before anything was moved in Sean cleaned the concrete surface and applied a concrete epoxy.
Because we found a black snake in the garage one day or rather Erinn found it, the garage doors can not be left open. Would really like to add a regular door on the side of the garage to make entering and exiting easier. Don't have the tools to cut through the concrete so will have to hire someone for that job. After over a year the floor has held up well. The epoxy coating cleans up easy but has some scratches from moving things around. (4/07)

The concrete epoxy was easy to apply and really inexpensive. |

After seeing the results wish we did the same to the basement floor. |

The garage is a mess so shelves were added to clean it up a little. Once a shed is built the garage will get a makeover to create a work shop for Sean. For now the other side consists of a mess of cabinets and lots of tools. (July 06) | |
