The Lawn

In the fall (05) we were dissappointed to see that water was pooling over the leech field. So we decided our first project come spring was to hire an excavator to level the back yard out and bring in soil.

	What the back yard looks like before the rain...... and afterwards.(Sept 05)
	Loads and loads of dirt were delivered and spread out.(Mar 06)
	After over 25 loads, the back yard is looking much better
	The low point of the yard was raised up and now there is only a slight slope from the house. The yard was fertilized and seeded. All we needed was SOME water.
	The front yard didn't need as much work. (Apr 06) The side yard was graded slightly. Will do a final grade once the driveway is paved.
	Not three days later we got deluged with inches of overnight rain. It was sickening to wake up to this sight.
	Our gravel driveway is now covered in soil.
	The water from the downspouts cut a path all the way to the shale beneath the soil.
	The water also ran down from the side of the house and we lost inches of soil.
