Down Spouts
The front yard took the brunt of the water damage. The back yard has very little slope so the water pooled and slowly drained off with little erosion. Sean thought the best way to take care of the water problem was to bury all seven down spouts. This meant chopping through the shade. During his week off for the Easter break he got most them done.

The porch down spout was completed pretty quickly. For now it drains down to the driveway. The retaining wall will be extended so the end is undecided. (Apr 06) |

Lost the pictures of the piping for the these two down spouts. The pipes for the back of the house go under the deck and connect with the other corner down spout. |

Three inch pvc piping was used for all the down spouts. These two down spouts came from the longest gutter so they were made to connect to 4" piping. |

Digging for the larger piping took much longer. Sean was getting very tired and sore from all digging. | ![]() |
